Description:

Together we attend the concert “Vienna, Tokyo… You Cities of My Dreams”, which takes place in honor of the friendship between Donaustadt and Arakawa. Risako Hiramatsu (lyrical coloratura) and Eduard Kutrowatz (piano) interpret works by Franz Schubert, Yoshinao Nakada, Richard Strauss, Ikuma Dan, Franz Liszt, Ambroise Thomas and Eduard Kutrowatz.

The battle of Aspern took place in 1809 – the first battle lost by Napoleon’s army under his overview. To this day several memorial stones in the form of obelisks can be viewed in the national park Donau Auen.
